STEP 1 With the help of another person, remove the mattress From the bed frame and lean it upright
STEP 2 Unzip the encasement on all three sides & wrap the short, unzippered side over the top of the standing mattress
STEP 3 Gently pull the encasement down so that both sides of the mattress are covered, & begin closing the zipper
STEP 4 Set the mattress back down on the bed & finish closing the zipper
STEP 5 To further protect you and ensure a great night's sleep we added a Velcro hook & loop fastening lock under the stitched flap by the zipper to prevent any bed bugs or dust mites from getting out, Securely fasten the Velcro by bringing the hook & the loop side together then pull zipper shut under Elastic zipper lock on the outside

Is it breathable? My son tends be warm when he sleeps; will this make him sweat?
Its breathable and actually you can't notice it. I have the same issue about my kids too and they are good with it and sleep well with this covers

Not noisy at all. It is very comfortable.
Does it cause heat when you sleep? Is it too hot?
It does not seem to cause heat at all. Very comfortable. I live in Arizona so I'm sure I would have noticed
